I like watches, timber, red wine and scotch. Not all in the same glass. I balance it with fencing...
  1. Enjoying Bog oak layely..... This Bog Oak is Russian, and 5,000-8,000 years old. A natural waxed finish gives a great contrast on the pen with trivalent chrome. The stylus is effective, and a single click projects a bullet proof parker ballpoint through the stylus. No muss, no fuss. A bit higher in price than most panamas, due to the Bog Oak. $120usd plus $25 shipping. $8 shipping in Oz.
  2. Ok.... another new experiment... lots of labour in these and the materials aren't cheap. The damascus steel is a metal composite, while the Bog Oak is Russian, and 5,000-8,000 years old. A natural waxed finish gives a great contrast on the pen with trivalent chrome. The stylus is effective, and a single click projects a bullet proof parker ballpoint through the stylus. No muss, no fuss. A bit higher in price than most panamas, due to materials and labour. $145 usd plus $25 shipping by pack and track $8 shipping in Oz

  4. I had a member order this from me a few months ago out of my rare, private stock and he went to ground. Lucky for everyone else, it's now up for sale. Birdseye Maple is normally blonde... very blonde... this one has been kiln dried. It smells like maple syrup when you work it. Awesome caramel finish. This stuff is hard to find in Oz and it's likely I won't get any more. This is why it was in my private stock. I hope it finds a good home. A bit more expensive than normal, this fella is $220 usd plus shipping. Rhoduim and black titanium hardware, CA finish and a great ceramic rollerball
  5. A special watch edition for RWG

/me wanders off to find a suitably large haddock...
  6. Happy to put the price up but... 1. I like to deliver value 2. I want pricing to be reachable for everyone. ;)
  7. Leaving it as German just for the direction the thread has taken Das ukboat..... stranglehold
  8. Fuck!! Identity crisis!!! Wait... Ok... fixing.... Offline mostly from 5-19 April. Back on19 April. Shipping will recommence on April 19! Whete DID I put that scotch?
  9. Hey there all, Please be advised that your local unwashed pen maker will be away from April 5 to April 19. During this time I will have very limited access to the internet, if at all. For those of you who have placed orders, you will know I have altered delivery dates with you via consultation. For those of you who wish to purchase from the sub-forum: I will try to respond to queries, but nothing will ship until after April 19. Best, G.
  10. Sharkey - Seiko SBBN015 Homage

I'm liking that.................. ............rather a great deal............
  11. Sure mate! I've taken some daylight shots so you can see the grain through the coating... It really is something.... at a distance, or indoors, it's black... In natural light, it comes to life.......
  12. This is the very last piece of Swamp Mahogany I have. :( Lovely timber.. one of my favourites... Hard to source here... very popular with people who don't like to share. I made one for a member, and had just enough left over for one last piece... I couldn't resist. $80usd + $25 shipping by pack and track $8 shipping in Oz. I hope you love this... it's awesome and I want to keep it!
  13. Yes... more 5-8000 year old bog oak! I just keep thinking that the pyramids were shiny and new when this poor tree fell into a Russian peat bog. This is on Rhodium with Gold highlights in a rollerball running a schmidt cartridge, but will take montblanc if you must. Oh yeah! $230 usd + $25 shipping by pack and track or registered post $8 shipping in Oz.
  14. Up for Sale - The Trusty Sierra Ballpoint in Rhodium and Black titanium. This one is pretty special, sporting 5000-8000 year old bog oak and 10,000-40,000 year old Mammoth Ivory at the clip. This mammoth is from northern Siberia, note the cream colour, highlighting that the permafrost is colder and the tusk maintains the light creamy colour. The parker mech on this is bullet proof, and will give you the class you want, with the reliability you get from that daily ballpoint that you love. $120usd + $25usd shipping by pack and track $7.50aud shipping in Oz.
