RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  1. here you go guys, any suggestions? Trying to source for the new bezel with the correct "10" I still have the pearl!
  2. Anyone know a good source for the DSSD bracelet/clasp and the new bezel, mine kinda fell apart =(. Thanks!
  3. IWC 2006 or 2007

I agree that the 2006 is definitely the better looking model....now I have to figure out which rep dealer to get it from
  4. IWC 2006 or 2007

Thanks Luthier! Did you source the watch from Mary as well? I am leaning towards the 2006. Seems like there is a lot you can do to mod these watches just from reading through the forums.
  5. IWC 2006 or 2007

Do these watches need to be serviced in order for the chrono to work correctly?
  6. IWC 2006 or 2007

So I've been looking at both of these fine watches. I am undecided on which version of the IWC AT to get. I really like the 2006 version as it is not as flashy and look more "classic." The thing is, I've read about both of them and have a few wondering questions that I'd like to get the experts opinions on. How hard is it to put the veneer wood on the case back of the 06? How much modding will I have to do on both 2006 and 2007? Any good dealers out there for those watches? What are the lume's like? IWC has grown on me the last few months. Thanks in advance everyone!
  7. DSSD and UN Blue Surf

HAHAHAHA...sorry about that, I kinda got busy with the kids/work, some of you guys know the drill.
  8. DSSD and UN Blue Surf

[/img] [/img] Check out what's coming back to me! Enjoy! With the UN he is actually taking off and leaving the space for the inner part. It was a mistake on his part. (hopefully my pics are working, my first post with pics!)
  9. Which DSSD...?

I would go with Mary. I haven't had any issues with her. She answered all my noob questions. Sent pics as requested. Great person to deal with!
  10. How hard is it to change out the Omega logo and the hands on the PO. One day my logo fell off, and on top of that when I wind the watch the hands were not moving? Any suggestions? Thanks
  11. Oscar Who did you get your's from if you don't mind me asking? Definitely as long as I'm able to figure out how to post pics
  12. Not mine doc. never hear a wisper from it. This is one very acurate rep with the exception of the serial# plate being brass instead of white gold like it should be. Appart from that it's near perfect. The only thing I will do one day is strip the xtal from it, remove the cyclops and send 'em both to CT for some real good AR. "No crystal" type AR would make the dial on this really pop. Col. Col/Doc haven't really read any reports on the noisy movement. I'll let you guys know once I receive it.
  13. UN Blue Surf

did the watch come water proof from the factory? or Did you have to mod it?
  14. I just happened to be browsing the forums and came across the UN Blue Surf Blue Dial with rubber straps. I finally caved in and ordered one from Mary. Based on the limited research from different forums, it seems they are made well. I'm sure not too many people know what a Gen is like anyways. I really liked the one it looks! Can't wait for it to come in with my DSSD V5
