      RWG NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!   04/09/17

RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  1. Rolex Daytona

    Thanks for the help!
  2. Rolex Daytona

Looking at splashing out on a decent Rolex Daytona after Xmas, I know there are major issues with the seconds at 6 movments, is there a thread about this or if there is an alternative to secs at 6?
  3. Trusted Dealers...

I’ve used Toro with PP for my last 4 watches but was just wondering if there were any others that use it
  4. Trusted Dealers...

They do but I don’t like using it as I’ve had my fingers burnt before with it
  5. Trusted Dealers...

Thanks Splke, any others you know of?
  6. Trusted Dealers...

My usual WU transfer shop has closed and to be honest I was getting a bit fed up of making the trip to pay for my purchases! What trusted dealers allow PP?
  7. DHL

It's more the fact that the TD is saying it has been posted but DHL are saying it hasn't that's worrying me
  8. DHL

Update on this one, so the DHL tracking hasn't moved since last Monday, still saying it's in HK, I emailed DHL who have told me they haven't actually had the parcel handed to them, they can issue a tracking number without a parcel and then it comes live when the parcel is handed in! Spoke to the TD and he says there are issues with DHL in HK, have I lost this watch as neither the TD or DHL seem to know we're it is? I'm not having much luck with watches this year
  9. DHL

So basically it could be anywhere haha
  10. DHL

So I paid a bit extra cash to get my new Rolex on a 4-5 day delivery with DHL, it was posted on Monday so I was expecting a delivery pretty soon.......just got my tracking number and it's still in Hong Kong! Is the DHL tracking just as bad as the Chinese Mail? I.e. Could the watch be in the U.K. but tracking hasn't been updated? In future I will just settle for standard delivery and save some cash Haha
  11. Asian ETA

Ok thanks guys, will stick a pic of the movement on once received
  12. Asian ETA

If it's not a clone ETA then why does it say that, I've paid an extra $110 for it
  13. Asian ETA

  14. Asian ETA

I'm guessing it's just an Asian clone
  15. Asian ETA

Am I ok to do that if it's a TD?
