RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  1. B&R - Out of fashion or not great reps?

B&R are not poor reps, they are very good. I owned a gen BR-02 and a rep at the same time. The only difference I could note was the orange on the gen was a little brighter. I have also owned a rep Aviator which was superb. Fallen out of fashion is more likely.
  2. The Never Ending Seikos Wristies!

    Love this timepiece....
  3. Yes it is, the Cosi Grande, purchased on here from a very good seller by the name of Linos
  4. I have just fitted a super matte Teju Lizard strap to my Raymond Weil. The strap has been manufactured and supplied by John Glance AKA Dangerous9. It is superb, so soft and supple, it looks treat on the watch. http://s296.photobucket.com/user/dangerousjohn/slideshow/Dangerous9straps%202016/August%202016%20straps/Malcolms%20SuperMatte%20Teju%20for%20RW%20Don%20Giovanni%20CG
  5. VIP Only Happy Easter Gift

    Count me in too please
  6. Thanks, yes, well chuffed. It came back far better than I expected.
  7. Here you go.....the picture shows some of the marks etc. especially the scratch at 7:30 and the ding on the case at 10:00
  8. I will try to find them.
  9. Really pleased with this, Timepiece have overhauled and serviced the movement, refurbished the case, fantastic job as it was battered. New Stingray strap from John Glance ( Dangerous 9), the strap is stunning.
  10. Servicing costs for Gens

Richard, thanks for digging out the information. Lightgeek, that's made me feel a little better ! but you have had a lot of work done there fella.
  11. Servicing costs for Gens

Ah well, my £300 doesn't look too bad after all .
  12. I have just sent my BR-02 in for a service and a polish, a couple of dings to be sorted too. I nearly fell over when told the cost, £300 ! Is this normal? The last gen I sent for a service was a Tag which cost £100, it was a while a go though.
  13. Help Please Bell & Ross BR-02 Strap

John Glance dangerour9 straps are the business. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=109943
  14. This wonderful work of art is on the way to me now, many thanks to John Glance. Its soon to be fitted to my Gen BR-02 Link to John's slide show http://s296.photobuc...ay%20for%20BR02
  15. I have purchased a gen under very similar conditions, the price reflected the lack of a box etc. Too good to be missed in my opinion. I wanted the watch to wear daily and was not fussed about the rest of the accessories. I carried out a fair amount of research before parting with my hard earned, I also had the watch validated once received. There are argument's both ways, and being realistic if I were buying a watch in the region of £3k upwards, I would want all the extras too.
