      RWG NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!   04/09/17

RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

    Posting a bit...
  1. Heavy Reps.

Yep, the diver is heaviest for me too, and you certainly know it's on the wrist.
  2. Digital calipers for a quid

I ordered both these when this thread got started too, and had completely forgotten. Not arrived yet, and don't even know if due or not. Cheers for reminding me
  3. New Week Wrist Check - 21st September 2015

Back to the old faithful today
  4. No idea if the rep is any good. But the gen is.
  5. The Victorinox INOX has landed, and it is awesome

Very nice indeed. Lovely clean look to it, I like it a lot. More pics please
  6. Hi all. I have a cheapy silix sub, and one of the screws holding the clasp has snapped. Any suggestions of where to pick up a cheap replacement (I'm in the UK). Trying to avoid the TD route as I would have thought the shipping would be more than the price of the strap. Cheers in advance.
  7. Monaco 24

Funnily enough I just sold one of these last night. Can't speak for its accuracy against the gen, but it was a very nice piece. Working chrono, nice weight, and the crystal is amazing. Hard to show in photos though. Only thing I'd say against it is not to underestimate its size. Its not a big watch in comparison to others, but it is very tall. I'd also say the strap isn't great (like most rep straps) but I never saw any decent alternative that I liked for it. If you like it, buy it, just don't expect it to be as good as the gen.

    Going large on a Friday

Haha cheers Dave. She's only 4 days old (and I don't know if its against the rules, but she's not a rep...)
  10. THE DC REVIEW: Sellita vs Miyota Nautilus

Great review. Thanks for the effort. I know which one I'm getting
  11. A Newbie introduction.

Welcome matey. Be warned, in 2 posts time your WTB list is going to increase exponentially! Enjoy
  12. Back Opener?

But no photos after the greasing...
