  1. My bronze beauty

I love this watch! I bought mine from a TD and still waiting for it to arrive. How do you like the dial? After paying I noticed the Gen seems to have raised letters on the dial and the reps seem to have printed letters :(. It's great, I wear it often. I'm sure there are small differences from the gen, it is a fraction of the cost after all. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

  4. Hi everyone, After getting a couple reps and starting a modest collection I thought I'd try my hand at strap making. I started with digging through the scrap bin at the local leather merchant but quickly became frustrated, so I took the plunge and bought a veg tanned calf hide. Next I bought a couple color dyes, some treatment and experimented with creating effects and color depth. Thankfully the calf makes it much easier than I thought it was going to be. Anyway, I've screwed up plenty and now I'm fairly happy with the straps. I'm definitely no Gunny or Nero but that's OK too... These are some of my straps, your feedback would be appreciated. 5. Nicely done. Props for undertaking this noble project....
  6. My bronze beauty

Got this stunner from Toro yesterday. The build quality is super and the bronze is already developing a nice patina. The bezel has a firm click, but is a bit 'vague' in-between clicks. I took it off to have a look and it only has one 'click mechanism' at the 7 o clock position. At the 1 o clock position there is a small spring which puts upward pressure on the bezel to keep things tight fitting. Overall the watch is great. I 'aged' the leather strap a bit to give a more vintage look. The bronze is typically soft, so I expect it'll gain a good amount of character over time.
