      RWG NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!   04/09/17

RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  1. 2014 Noob DSSD- My next build (step by step)

    Nice tutorial!
  2. I know nothing about rolexs - this any good?

Did somebody say "batman"? But yeah, the overall quality looks fine, the crown and the skinny bezel numbers are the biggest tells.
  3. 35% discount at Panatime today

Thanks! You just saved me almost $100
  4. Ouch. I have made some bulk orders from Toro and in that way the shipping price is ok. But $60 for one watch is way too rich for me. It looks like the prices are going higher year by year and it's never going to drop in near future. It's funny that there is a lot of non-TD's who offer free EMS-shipping and sometimes the watch prices are even lower than what our TD's ask.
  5. NEW WEEK WRIST CHECK - 24th November 2014

I like that fact that my PAM really glows like a sun. My dial has visible glow after hours and hours of darkness... That relume has a brightness rating of approximately 33,000 immediately after charge, 945 at 10 minutes, and 126 at 60 minutes. It continues to be visible by the human eye more than 24 hours after the initial charge. So it's really bright.
  6. NEW WEEK WRIST CHECK - 24th November 2014

Morning from Finland! Destro Pam says hi.
  7. NEW WEEK WRIST CHECK - 17th November 2014

Sorry for the bad picture quality. This photo does no justice for the vibrance of the dial colors. :(
  8. Omega Seamaster Professional

Oh, you're right. Also the balance wheel is in the another place at ETA. Sorry, I didn't look closely those images with this shitty tapatalk.
  9. Omega Seamaster Professional

It's perfectly normal. Those clone ETA 2824-2 movements are usually made to look like it's gold plated. Better ones are usually nickel plated and might have nicer decorations. But yeah, it's nice movement, basic Asian eta 2824-2 cost about $100.
  10. What do you guys do for a living?

Web development manager (M.Sc. Econ.) in the Hong Kong based start-up firm. Living with my psychiatric partner. No wife or kinds.
  11. Omega Seamaster Professional

Nothing wrong with that watch. Nice 28k bph movement and no big tells in watch face. And reps are always overpriced, especially in the price range of >300$. Plus $50 Ems-shipping...
