  1. Almost 70 years old...

Thank you for posting this video. It was easy to follow and really added to my understanding of watch parts and how a watch works.
  2. My Collection of GREAT WATCHES!

    Enough of the fake posting.
  3. I just received a full refund on AliExpress for two watches that came after the guaranteed delivery date. It took a bit of back and forth, but as it neared the date for the Ali dispute team to take over the claim, the seller agreed to give me the full refund.
  4. I believe the dealers at Watch International are Mary and Rochest. I have not purchased a watch from them, but have used a trusted dealer from another forum (RWI) that works closely with them. What I like is the personalized service a small dealer offers. You give them a picture along with specs of what you want and they will let you know if it's available and at what cost. You send them the money and they pick the best watch to meet your criteria. You receive QC pictures of the watch and if you approve, it will be sent to you after your watch has been run for a few days to ensure it is accurately keeping time and other functions are working properly. I have been very happy with the "BP factory" Rolex DateJust Lady 31 I most recently received.
  5. Agree with Zachthebaker, don't waste your time. Have a meal in Little Italy, right next to Chinatown, but skip the knockoffs in NYC.
  6. New Gal

I'm still reading forum posts and looking at watches on various trusted vendor sites. I want to thank those who run and contribute to RWG. I am enjoying it very much and hopefully am learning the ropes so that I don't annoy anyone with an improper question or comment. I am itching to buy a watch, but I want to be as informed as possible before I do.

Thank you all for your comments and great suggestions. Mark8111 your wife is going to love it, what a beautiful watch.
  8. New Gal

Thank you, I appreciate your responses. I will post as I progress and I'm sure I'll have questions too.
  9. New Gal

Hi everyone. I look forward to learning about watches and have a special interest in models for women. Any recommendations? Tina
