      RWG NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!   04/09/17

RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  4. Genuine Wrist Check - June 17

A little while back I was able to release a grail watch from it's plastic back. Too nice to share:

  8. The real deal?

After all the watch seems to be real and I was wrong, but better safe than sorry. ;)
  9. The real deal?

Unfortunately not an option in this case. I do know the latest versions already come with an updated font as IWC uses a slightly different font than the standard ETA's. This was the first thing to let me think it is a replica. Also no certificate and seller found the watch at the attic. So the whole story is already a bit shady, owner found it on the attic. Supposed to be from a deceased family member.
  10. The real deal?

Hi guys, Thanks for taking the time to look at this topic. I'm convinced that the following watch is fake or did I missed anything or any other points? - font of the date - the points at 12 seems to be a little bit smaller - the hight of the bezel, which is larger on the real thing. Thanks for the help! And a reference photo:
  11. Great to read you'll get an offer; nice!! Congrats
  12. House robbed - watches gone!

That's horrible, good luck with getting everything back on track. Only the idea of people being in your home,...
  13. Too many Pateks?!

Have to agree, they are for sure pieces of art, but far from stunning. I prefer the more simple designs from Patek.
  14. I would go for any watch that's mentioned in this topic, whatever you feel like. More important I would not mention this topic during the interview as that might be a little weird. ;-)
  15. Almost every watch in the auction went over the estimated price. This one did very well indeed, they thought it would do 1.6,..... more than double. Crazy world.
