RWG Needs Your Support - upgrade to a VIP/Supporter membership! If you find your time here to be useful and (we hope) entertaining, we encourage you to become a VIP/Supporter member. This only costs £21 (a little under $30 USD dependent on exchange rates) per annum and all proceeds go towards our hosting costs and making RWG the best watch board around. By becoming a supporter you will also gain a number of benefits including: 1. If you subscribe during one of our VIP upgrade competitions (announced above the shoutybox on the board index page and also found in our competitions subforum), then you could win a nice watch (usually a high-quality rep). We run these competitions approximately monthly, so keep your eyes open for the next one. You will also get access to our free birthday VIP giveaways - you could win a strap, watch tools or even a watch (there have been some amazing prizes including gen Longines, Raymond Weil, Hamilton and Victorinox watches, along with various high-end reps!) 2. Early access to the Member Sales area (see the sales area for rules) and the ability to bump your sale to the top of the board periodically. 3. Access to the supporters-only section of the board. 4. Increased PM storage 5. The ability to change your displayed user name (once in a 90-day period). 6. Occasional discounts from some of our dealers (keep an eye on their subforums for special offers). PLEASE PM Greg_r to upgrade to VIP

  1. BASELWORLD 2017

Looks like someone at Omega has a hard on for Orange this year... The Speedy Racing with the arrow indexes is interesting Thoughts on the Seamaster "Big Blue" with the all ceramic Blue case? Huge at 45.5mm Not sure if I love it or hate it???
  2. The Never Ending Seikos Wristies!

Sumo Padi recently purchased. Put it on a Crafter Blue rubber strap with the curved ends made specifically for the Sumo Loving it :-)
  3. Anyone heard of Dan Henry Watches???

Here's a lume shot of the 1970, I thought it was ok myself
  4. Anyone heard of Dan Henry Watches???

That's too bad. I've only read good reviews on WUS. Haven't seen much poor feedback, grant you I haven't been on the FB page. A dose of reality is what I needed to talk me out of this one......then again, it's only $250, lol... To be fair mate I could have just received a bad quality one from a small batch. On the Microbrand watch FB page most comments are positive apart from some like me with bad case finishing & lots of complaints about the poor lume. And yeah it is only $250
  5. Anyone heard of Dan Henry Watches???

Found this on a FB Microbrand watch page. Ended up buying the Dan Henry 1970 Great looking watch for the price but not the best finishings. The case finishings for example are poorly done. Bit rough around the edges & the case back has gaps. I don't think QC is a big feature for them. Similar comments about the case on the FB page as well For $250 I'm happy with the watch but could have been better quality imo Some pics I took when I got the watch. Will post some later of the case issues

  9. I also ordered the Killy a couple of days ago Had a write up on Undone watches on the Microbrand watches group Facebook page
  10. Bargain of the year?

Nice catch mate. I've been looking at the blue dial Pan Europ but the cheapest I could find was around US$700 Great deal. Enjoy
