  1. THE DC REVIEW: AP Royal Oak 15202 automatic

Thanks DC. Looks a winner. You mind sharing the price with us? Cheers
  2. I Have a Problem

That's a problem i'd very much like to have on my wrist.
  3. This is my personal favourite colour combo but would go with the green gold combo if i had to choose between the two but I'm very partial to most gold watches. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=123126&st=0 Have it under Xmas tree waiting for me now. I chose asian movement because of what what I read in the movement section http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=6930 Fading gold... A little debatable about how much the new gold watches fade but I'd buy it with confidence.
  4. AP 15400 RO in the wild...I'm a convert

I would have to respectfully disagree with this. I have both RG and SS and find they look as equally dirty as one another; if not the SS a little dirtier and IMO the RG is much more stunning. I think if you like the gold go for it! You won't be disappointed a RG JF 15400 was my first rep and still my favourite!
  5. Pictorial review - BP Rolex Daydate Rose gold / brown dial

Don't swim with your reps. And seriously this is not the type of watch one would want for swimming anyway. This watch is for being a fucking boss smoking a cigar, not doing laps. Just my opinion. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

I went with the asian clone.. Here's why http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=6930 Save $40 too
  7. Pictorial review - BP Rolex Daydate Rose gold / brown dial

This whole gold fading thing seems to me like everyone is worried about something that doesn't seem to be such a problem anymore. I've seen countless comments about people warning of the fade but am yet to see someone say "yeah mine's gone to shit, don't get the gold". I am very new to the rep world but from my own personal observations it seems like much ado about nothing. Maybe the pain of some of the older reps fading is lingering with some of the older members here. Maybe I'm wrong so please do correct me if you've had a different experience recently. My first rep was RG and was warned about fading but it's going strong! I also have had QC's of this very watch sent through in the last couple of days and am eagerly awaiting it's delivery and fading will not be a concern of mine whatsoever and will wear it fearlessly
  8. Hi Guys, I'm a big fan of Genta's designs and am really keen on adding an Ingenieur to my collection and have come across one that's really caught my eye. http://www.kuvarsitwatch.co/iwc/ingenieur/iwc-ingenieur-power-reserve-asian-21j-automatic-movement.rose-gold-gray-dial/ I really like the RG and grey dial combination on this one and the $148 price mark is also pretty appealing. Only thing is I'm not quite sure I could handle having the power reserve on the dial if it is not functioning so I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the power reserve functions on this model. I've seen some dealers advertise 'working power reserve' on other IWC models but the lack of such wording and the the price tag has me concerned that this model would not have it functioning. Any insight much appreciated.
  9. AP Suggestions?

This!.... One day though Toro has some pretty good sales on AP ROO's at the moment. $200 off a watch is usually pretty good inspiration.
  10. Wrist Check - November 28, 2016

Great second post Welcome to the forum! Don't see many of those Sinns. Nice Is that the quartz one? I've been tempted by those as a 'grab and go' watch for when I'm running late! lol Sure is.. Got if for the exact same reason. Quality isn't comparable to my JF 15400 but for $158 from toro you can't go wrong. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  12. Is www.kuvarsitwatch.cn legit?

Any word? Did you get burned?
  13. Watch winder recommendation

I have one almost exactly the same as one on their site. Pretty sure they're all the same and mass Chinese produced so you'll be able to source one of these from multiple places with their prices all being pretty similar. I have one with 4 winder slots and 6 additional slots. It works pretty well with multiple settings however the motor isn't quite that silent. As mine is in my room on my drawers you can hear it when there's zero noise and you're trying to sleep. I'm pretty sure it has a setting option to only be on for 6 hours out of the day so if you time that for when you're not sleeping should be fine. Also has a two hour on, two hour off setting or something similar. A thing to note however if you have larger watches, which most people will have of some sort these days, they can tap on the glass as they rotate which can get annoying. You can spend some time angling the watch to be in there perfect so it doesn't tap but if you're constantly changing watches every day could be quite tedious. Keep in mind the below image is before i was introduced into the rep world and I haven't put any reps on it yet. Just don't feel too confident leaving them on there. In saying that you'd also only want to put on accurate watches as the Bulova below is running horribly fast so I would have to change the time when putting it on anyway so it's pretty much turned into a glorified watch box which I don't mind because I think it's preety damn sexy especially the black on black. Sorry for the crappy photo. y room is low lit and was taken a long time ago.
  14. a gold-plated daily?

In all its dirty RG glory.. Seriously don't know what I do to have my watches get do dirty lol Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  15. a gold-plated daily?

Been wearing my AP RG 15400 almost daily for 5 months now.... No fading whatsoever. I too was warned and have only just acquired a SS 15202 but find that the SS always looks much dirtier in comparison to the RG. In saying that the 15400 is a top notch JF version and more than double the price of the SS one. Love your purchase too. Am about to order myself one for Christmas however have intentions of wearing as much as possible Enjoy!
