  1. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

Ah ok, then probably the actual catch which holds the two parts of the clasp together is not deep enough or maybe twisted out to a weird angle. I'm not too sure what the fix would be.
  2. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

Exactly, so if he's finding it hard to bend the "right" side outward, he can try bend the "left" side inward for the same effect.
  3. Day-Date 40 228206, Noob 1:1 Best, my first rep. Underwhelmed

Before you get too upset, take a look at the color of the blue in these photos of the gen daydate platinum: IMHO the BP dial is actually closer to gen than the Noob. Also, I've asked around and BP supposedly has more accurate case dimensions. I haven't compared to a gen personally though so idk.
  4. Day-Date 40 228206, Noob 1:1 Best, my first rep. Underwhelmed

If you placed an order with your TD for Noob, but he sent you QC with BP, then the TD's practices are questionable, especially since BP is cheaper than Noob. Not your fault that you couldn't see it was BP from QC pics especially since you're not experienced with this watch yet!
  5. Day-Date 40 228206, Noob 1:1 Best, my first rep. Underwhelmed

The watch in the QC and in the photos you posted is a BP DayDate 40, not a Noob. See for yourself: http://www.ttw-1388.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_452&products_id=16600 http://www.ttw-1388.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_452&products_id=16016 Compare the day-wheel (Monday-Tuesday...) of your watch with these, and also compare the thickness of the stick hour markers. Having said that, BP is to my knowledge is the more accurate replica of the two, with better details. I have one in YG with Champagne Dial, and the only thing that bothers me about BP of course is the daywheel font.
  6. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

Hmm maybe try slightly bending the other side, but to make it less curved?
  7. 114060 Submariner No Date Replicas - Opinions?

Oh ok thanks for letting me know, I haven't really researched gen parts. That makes sense considering rolex's approach to servicing
  8. 114060 Submariner No Date Replicas - Opinions?

Thank you guys! Will most likely just settle for the v7, and then if I'm too disappointed with the bezel, with splurge on a gen insert.
  9. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

Ahaha no need to bend too hard mate!
  10. 114060 Submariner No Date Replicas - Opinions?

The many reviews of the dark bezel font is whats stopping me from just buying a V7, as I can deal with all other imperfections, but the bezel is a huge thing and want as close as possible to the gen look without mods. Thanks for sharing!
  11. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

    No worries!
  12. 114060 Submariner No Date Replicas - Opinions?

    Cheers guys.

    Happy to help!
  15. Rolex Loose Clasp Fix

Just wanted to share this trick with anybody who hasn't heard of it, and is having problems with a loose clasp which keeps opening on their rolex - have tried it myself with oyster bracelet and president bracelet clasps, works very well.
