So I figure lets have some fun. Send him a message and ask if he can provide proof of authenticity and better pictures of the dial. He replied:

Dear cmderrx,

I do not know anything about authenticity, I bought it as it is!

He knows.....

Of course he knows. Nobody would sell what they thought was a genuine Omega chrono on ebay for 700bucks with bugger all info and just some crappy photos.

He knows only too well what he's flogging, and has set it up precisely in a manner to try to catch someone who is clueless and has more money than sense.

Like wriggles stated, he knows and has set the stage for the "I'm just stupid and know nothing" and in fact I pressed him just a bit more with this:

Dear alienistfreetown,

You don't know if it is even authentic? Proof of authenticity can ensure a sale but with those poor quality pictures I would have to suspect this is a fake. Do you have better pictures? If you really want to sell it at that price it would be worth the time to have it authenticated for potential buyers. Somehow I think you already know what's really going on here.

TO which he replied:

Dear cmderrx,

I do not know anything about watche but I know this watch isn't cheap! what area do you want me take the photo?

- alienistfreetown

... immediately after I pressed with more questions; it "Sold"
