DR3M3L 4 Posted July 15, 2015 I just received a package from Marvellous Replica. My god, first thing I saw was a Customs tape around the envelope.... I opened it up and found some more customs tape around the box.... It was clearly opened.... Pfeeeeewwwwww there's still a watch inside! Ohh yes, it's the Noob Submariner V5! A little bit closer inspection shows a nicely centered date: The 30 is a bit too much to the top, but don't forget this is a 30x magnifier on top of my camera zoom..... It doesn't look bad at all from a distance. The pearl on this one is just perfect. I love it, the glass cover is nicely finished and the lume is STRONG. Then the "titanium" finish of the insert. I've done about 6 different mods on my old subs to get it more gen like... But damn, this one is the closest I've seen so far! Out of the box! No mod needed!! The dial printing is crisp, they sure improved the printing compared to the older models. Then the crystal... Beautiful! It looks just like the gen. The only thing that I caught with my camera is the little lasered crown. With my naked eye I can't see it, but using a 45x magnifier you can clearly see the laser missed quite a few spots: The finish of the markers is great, no lume over the buckets etc. The crown is way sharper than older models, making it look and feel much more gen like. Also it is butter smooth in screwing in and out. Overall I'm very happy with this new version, it sure is an incredible rep that's very close to the gen- just out of the box without modifications. Toro is a seller, he doesn't PRODUCE the watches. And 3135 movement is a recipe for troubles. I, too, am interested in the actual model watch that you ordered from MR.
