Hello All,

I am about to delve into the world of genuine watches... Don't worry I'm not turning my back on reps! I just feel this is the right time to treat myself!

So I am here for your opinions really... Which one would you choose- I think I have made a decision I'm just interested in other peoples opinions!

So here we are:

Watch A:

Nice, but with no center seconds none would be for me.(I like the big date though)

Go with the one you like best.

It is always a question of personal taste in the end. For me it would be A. But hey! Its you wrist it will be on and your hard earned cash that will have gotten it

It would be A for me I personally think the black dial suits this watch very well.

C if the sub dial wasnt so cluttered

(A & B are out of my equation since I came to the conclusion that chronos are idiotic)

A with no doubts. More versatile than the others.

Then A and B is OK because they have no (double) chronograph function ;)

I would go for C, if I needed to pick one of these. The Seconds @6 with the date in them, I think, is a nicely designed. Although I would prefer to not have the text below the subdial. but thats my opinion and you cant really change that i think...

If I were you, I wouldn't buy any of them. You'll "know" when you get the right watch.

Daywatch

Staightforward for 1/3 more I´d try to get an automatic Tudor Blackbay to keep like forever.

Take 2, whenever You´re off the beaten track and electricity is scarce, an alarm function on the watch suddenly becomes a necessity and it´s always welcome/functional anyway: A or B; as generally there are fewer options for white dials than black, I went with the white (also the black looks very good as well).

Last note: the rep Tag Aquaracer Grande date with swiss ronda quartz comes very, very close to the gen, in looks and handling, all functions including the spinning 1/10 th seconds and 12 hour stopwatch are there. Never regretted buying the rep of this watch, the quality of pushers, threads etc. is stunning.

None of the above...They all suffer from one common flaw...A 3 letter word on the dial... :giggle: :giggle:
