PAM Radiomir 512 - Photoshoot!

Recommended Posts

Gazzla

Hey Gang

Recently received from Tim - Watchfinder - a PAM Radiomir 512. :D

Usual exemplary service from Tim and Dan, great QC and shipped super fast. I bought this out of curiosity, mainly because of the 42mm case size. I've never had a 42mm PAM in the flesh and wanted to see how this measured up on the wrist.

Turns out it's a tad small for me, but it's a beautiful watch. Decent rep strap, excellent polished case and exhibition caseback, running on a handwind movement. Crown operates solidly and keeps time to 4 secs a day. Super sandwich dial with pale yellow markers. Nuclear lume.

Overall build quality is fantastic. Don't hesitate to dip your toe into the 512 water.

If you've always wanted a PAM, but thought you couldn't pull it off because of the size, then this may be for you. :D

Drivel over, pics!

Superb photos. Been eyeing up the 512 because I'm not sure I could pull off 47mm. Tricky as I'm loving my 177 so could 42 be as you say a tad small. Regardless great shots and she looks beautiful Gaz.

Cheers mate. One of the best rep straps I've seen, Dal. I honestly think they're getting better. Last 3 or 4 have been spot on.

Sits nice on the wrist. You fancy this one?

When you think that just about all rep straps were piss poor and more often than not let things down it's nice to see they are finally paying attention to them more now .

Wouldn't mind it.

Any chance of a wristy.

Does look a tad small on such manly wrists..... Proper men - such as you - should not go below 44mm...... I on the other hand with slim inferior wrists.....

Nice share. Either this one or the 513 will probably be my first Pam.

Thanks for the review, made me think of ordering one. Have you compared this too the gen?

Would you say with your experience, this is considered a super rep?

Thanks

Absolutely NO

Display caseback with inaccurate movement

Some flaws in dial and lume colour

No completely acurate case

Pseudonym

Bit of a bump from the dark ages, but I have fancied one of these for such a long time as an alternative dress watch. Given my fat wrists, It may look a tad out of place- only one thing to do is to try one on.

To WTB Batman!
