So many beautiful, vintage watches here. My envy is boundless.

Here is my own contribution to this thread... albeit, somewhat more modest, but I really like the smaller sizes of dress watches from the seventies and eighties. They give rise to a watch which is both elegant and restrained all at the same time.

My_Watches-9.jpg

This simple Seiko 5 has a really radiant yellow dial. Sadly, it currently needs a service but is otherwise in outstanding condition for a 17J automatic movement watch which I believe dates from the early 70s.

This Citizen is, I think, a 21J automatic from the late 70s to early 80s. It's weathered the years remarkable well and still works perfectly.

Finally, this is my 17J Oris from the early 80s. It's a mechanical movement and works well for its age. I just enjoy the playful nature of this watch's dial even if it is something of rabid blend of styles. I have a huge soft spot for Oris, indeed I own several. They are, I believe, the one remaining truly independently-owned Swiss watchmaker and in this age that is something to be applauded.

Since we're on a 17j kick, here's my vintage Oris hand-winding movement. I love wearing it.

17 jewel redial. Good fun and usually under $20 USD.

Yep 100% Rep :) Most TDs should be able to get it. I think the gen is around 50k so yep the rep will do. It comes with a very nice rivet bracelet too.  Flimsy bracelet but who cares :)

Apparently my wife has left these crystals outside overnight to get charged up by the moonlight and then use them to emit positive energy throughout the house,
Don't know about that but they make a nice background for my 7922 876a62b3d646d884765a04a0dec754aa.jpg8142879a3c12f97cdab34eced3c3c342.jpg6862b621ab22c753a61e55766f278d4d.jpg27a301031153b1cf600a6508d78fd016.jpg
