JohnG could sign him up to Midget porn monthly :)

Any way to get him to do that for me or must I rip off a member first?

Don't rip your member off. You'll need it if you are going to enjoy a John G link to the fullest.

Why not pursue this through Ebay? I believe that they can assist here. Click on eBay Money Back Guarantee, which provides protection from counterfeit items. It would be a good idea to stop fraudsters from accessing the mediums through which they commit fraud.

OP says he communicated and agreed a price outside of eBay but bought with PayPal.

Since the item was "withdrawn", it looks like they decided to trade outside Ebay to avoid fees. If so, Ebay will wash their hands of it, and may even take action against both of them for violation of terms of business. That only leaves PP. If he then paid using PP Gift, he's fucked, as PP prohibit the use of PP Gift for purchasing items, so again would probably go against the pair of them for violation of terms and conditions.

I confess I have not read the full extent of the OP but, err, anyone who goes off piste on Ebay is completely on their own as far as I can see.

It absolutely does not condone scamming but for sure you'd better be a proper expert, or take one with you, if you are going to part with more than you'd be prepared to spend on a decent night out.

And if you are a scammer you should make sure your 'customers' can't find you because one day, somebody is going to be upset enough to call by with some friends for a visit. Then your ill-gotten gains are not going to look like very much at all.

It´s not the first time that he sold rep as gen, I remember he did it with other members too. Wondering why ebay didn´t ban him yet.

US $899.00 for a gen? You took the risk and lost.

You might want to think about your post; e.g. If it is 'too good to be true', that means that it IS too good to be true...

Really?

If you are going to go around correcting members' posts (especially when it's blatantly obvious what was meant) then you'll find yourself extremely unpopular in no time, and probably in the Gulag shortly afterwards...

Surely too confident not to be a sock puppet?

Oh, are we correcting people's grammar? In that case, I would like to point out that e.g. Means exempla gratia, or 'for example'. I suspect you intended to write i.e - Id est, or 'that is'.

Maybe wait till you've moved out of your glass house before slinging rocks at the established members, hmm?
