mclarendude 8,008 Posted February 19, 2016 My older brother's visiting from Hawaii and he brought his gen 116613 with him. It was a bit dirty and the gold was "dull". So I disassembled it (took the bracelet off and washed the case & bracelet with dishsoap) and polished it with Cape Cod. I don't like to brag but, it came out nicely. What do you guys think? dave47 6,416 Posted February 20, 2016 Hi, Gang! It's Friday, the start of the weekend, so all working souls -- ENJOY! For today, a very SPECIAL watch -- one that I last wore over ten 10 years ago. I last wore it to work at The College either in '04 or '05; since then, I had placed it in one of my special all-metal watch boxes. What followed were a number of years dealing with brain tumors, surgery & recovery & hip replacement surgery & therapy, etc. Just this past week, one of the mates show-cased his Seiko flight chronograph in this week's wristies and was inspired to dig out mine. I set the time and date, pushed in the crown, and her engine fired up immediately & is still keeping excellent time!! I'm impressed to say the least, gang. Excellent Seiko quality. dave:
