ok probably been done a thousand times but not today !

you have a bag of sand and have to buy a Gen Watch today what do you go for ? it's got to be only 1 watch it has to be a Gen and it has to be retail can be used though! over £500 but no more than a grand

To start us off I would go for the Longines Heritage 1935 we were drooling over yesterday from Goldsmiths uk

or maybe an ORIS artix gt day date

???????????????????

It would be a toss-up between a Hamilton Ventura XXL and a Glycine Goldeneye

Can it be used, or does it have to be new?

For this price at least I would need double as much time. So it would be a Glycine with 24hours dial and movement. The one below or a nice vintage model.

It´s kinda off a "difficult" budget: too much to throw it around and not enough to get exactly what I´d like.

Longines Sport Collection Hydroconquest Mens Watch L3.641.4.56.6dgt

£998,75 as it fits the budget

I agree,... that's why I thought about a 24 hour watch. As I don't have one and would like one.

I think it would be ok without the stupid case cover.

Easy - used speedy.

However, if I had the option to save I'd probably save up and go for a new speedy or PO.

Amazed so many would go for a Glycine, they're nice but not that nice IMHO.
