I think this with the dial from the blue version but that yellow strap would be awesome

I'm thinking of this yellow dial with a black strap.

I would go for the Longines that's a great gen at a great price then swap it out with the strap of your choice ,maybe a dark blue and white NATO or a brown leather zulu

Summer meaning heat and sometimes moisture, call me crazy but any Panerai with a colorful rubber strap would be a good choice. A PAM312 with some colorful rubber strap would be good as it can resist water fairly well and it just has almost a summer sort of vibe to it. Just an idea!

Agree with a few others. Rollie + nato = summer happiness.

wouldn't mind some suggestions, I'm after something colourful and on a material strap.

if you know me you know i like my Rollies, doesn't have to be one though :)

When I think "summer watch", I think the beach and wearing it in the water. In that's your idea, I'd forgo a rep and get a good Seiko or Orient dive watch. They're as cheap (if not cheaper) than many of the reps others have listed plus you don't have to worry if they will survive going into the water. You can get them with orange dials, yellow, and blue/red bezels. And they look great on a colorful NATO strap.

^^ This!

When I gotta pull a toddler outta the pool I don't want to have to take off my rep first. I'm going Shogun this summer. I find Ti cooler than hot steel.
