Watch Repair Question!

Recommended Posts

semajrolyat

Hey everyone!

I have a great looking replica tag monaco 24 that i recently damaged while on holiday, the glass on the front has smashed and I'm certain that there is damage to the movement.

I was wondering if anyone could give some guidance on how i can go about getting this fixed?

Here are some pics if it helps :)

Genius

looks like a 21j version in which case its probably cheaper to buy a new one than attempt to fix it

I think it's at a stage you would be best to sack it and get another watch, I'd imagine even due to the glass shape you would need to get the exact watch to take the part out of any ways

Take a look at what Kuwarsit has, imho not worth repairing as it´s not easy to get parts for these (or impossible). As for Your lifestyle :) You might consider a better bezel/crystal protection

Plenty of good ones around. Especially the chrono. All TDs can have them you need to study and select the one is good for you.

Definitely let that go. Cheaper to get a new one.

Forget the reparation, let's go to new one. But not the same, this model is "old". Choose another. In the same brand you have diferent models very cool.

It would be very difficult to find a spare crystal to fit your watch. Also its hard to source the exact movement to fit the watch and even if you do find it would usually cost more then just buying a whole new watch.

Finish the job and buy a new one.
