ShovelnTC 31 Posted May 25, 2016 So after waiting a couple of years and having saved a substantial Gen watch fund I was hugely impressed with the new Moonie LE released at Basil so I contacted my local Omega boutique in March pretty much as soon as I had first seen it and asked for first option and offered an immediate deposit if it would secure the beast. I received a prompt and courteous response and the AD told me that they would confirm availability and price and get back to me ASAP. Well they told me that final info wasn't available but they'd keep me informed. So today I receive an email which tells me that the organization (I think they have a few stores) will only be receiving 3 of the model and that unfortunately all were sold. So not sure how I could have been any quicker but I guess their previous customers get first option. Disappointed but the price would probably been ridiculous anyway. Oh well at least my watch fund is still in tact although the missus is pretty much convinced that she's getting a new kitchen so it may be decimated very soon. :( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
