Just got this one used and I think I like it!

I love the Bulova Precisionist movement! To those not familiar with it, the second sweeps like a 28k bph, but is quartz! Time will tell (how ironic) if the movement is reliable...anyone know the predicted battery life?

I just picked up a used Precisionist Longwood and was reading up on the movement. It is the smoothest sweep I've ever seen. It should be, though, ticking at 57,600 beats/hour or 16 beats/second. It's simply hypnotizing!

It is hypnotic for sure! I sometimes feel like it's moving too slow or something, just so smooth!!

Hi, Gang! Welcome to PAMSDAY!! Hope you're all wearing your Pams, heh. Today, this Pam 127 "Fiddy" I picked up several weeks ago M2M; looks old, esp. with the faded printing. Still, it has the gold hands, domed crystal, etc. expected of them. I just never realized they were SO expensive -- $10,000 to $24,000 on some watch dealer sites. Yikes! dave: (Old pics; I changed out the black strap for one closer to the original.)

Hi Dave, let me know if you ever decide to let that fiddy go...

THAT, my friend, is VERY beautiful. Almost bought one this past January; Fell for the Omega SeaMaster Good Planet instead.
