ROLEX1010 0 Posted June 7, 2016 Hey guys.So I banged my DSSD on a wall and to the testament of the great job they do on the 5mm saphire,did not scratch or crack or chip however the bezel pearl was not so lucky.Being as awesome as Josh is at perfect clones he is sending me a replacement pearl at no cost(not even shipping) this all sounds great but does anyone have a link to a tutorial or and tips on how one goes about actually replacing it? GenTLe 1,501 Posted August 1, 2016 To the OP: if you don't want to remove the bezel insert and glue the pearl from the back once in place (this is the best way), you can prepare a very little amount of epoxy 2 component glue, put it inside the hole in the insert with a needle (take care not to mess with the glue in the visible parts) and then fit the pearl. Before that anyway be sure to remove all the old gummy glue residue inside the hole: new glue doesn't get grip over old glue. BenjaminB: he wrote Josh sent a new pearl to him for free.
