For this holiday, a new addition to the collection from SO&CO of New York: this Rolex Sub homage (but quartz) recently acquired from Overstock.com. For the low sale price of $38.95, it feels substantial: case is 40mm thick, 14mm thick, and tips the scales at 154 grams. The case, bezel, and bracelet seem to be well-made, not flimsy. The bezel insert looks and feels like it's ceramic but isn't; Like INVICTA, SO&CO offers an exaggerated retail price of several hundred dollars but is much less during regular sales. It's a 100m water resistant piece, with a screw down case back and screw down crown. I'll test these this week in the complex's pool. Along with the warranty card and instruction manual, SO&CO also offers a quite guideline regarding water resistance ratings, which I've included in this wristie. I'm just sorry for the long intro, as I thought I'd combine an intro to the watch along with the wristie.
