OmegaOverlord 0 Posted July 4, 2016 So this is my second Omega Planet Ocean rep, the one I had previously worked flawlessly for the last two years. that thing came along with me travelling, swimming and a multitude of other activities. After sadly loosing this piece I really had the desire to replace it and luckily Josh over at perfect clones had a sale on the NOOB planet ocean. The watch I was originally looking at. Without any further babbling here are some pics. I even made the plunged and picked up the box with it. the bracelet was dry lubed after a few hours of receiving it, making it silky smooth without any rattle. I due plan on sending out my watch to my watch smith to have it properly waterproofed, regulated and any other pesky things that I want checked out just to make sure it runs properly without any hassle. Reesemoney 0 Posted July 6, 2016 Looks sick, can't wait for mine to arrive tomorrow! So can I swim with the noob version without any problems?
OmegaOverlord 0 Posted July 6, 2016 Looks sick, can't wait for mine to arrive tomorrow! So can I swim with the noob version without any problems? GET IT CHECKED first, you need to make sure the crowning and the gaskets are fully sealed. By that i mean they need to be properly greased. Then i would get it check by your local smith. ortiizz 0 Posted July 22, 2016 Hi how do you dry lube the bracelet? Can you share the process? Thanks Here you go: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=17441 There used to be images, but I guess it will be a little help even wo pics. Pretty straight forward. Take the bracelet off, dip it in WD-40 for few hours, rinse with warm water and you're done. WD-40 is sold pretty much everywhere.
Hunklee 0 Posted July 23, 2016 Thanks for sharing! May I know what's the noticeable difference after your dry lube treatment?
ortiizz 0 Posted July 23, 2016 Thanks for sharing! May I know what's the noticeable difference after your dry lube treatment? It removes friction and for the lack of better terminology, "feels better, smoother". You'll notice the difference for sure. Sorry OP for hijacking the topic with this. Beautiful PO! Got mine few weeks back from Mary as well. Altho I modded mine into a pumpkin, which did not turn out as well as I expected.

abrown3mtg 0 Posted April 29, 2017 I keep thinking I have my mind made up but I keep seeing more and more established production pieces that make me second guess. I don't need another collection/acquisition addiction :D

I'm a new member here but have done a lot of reading on this forum. My experience this week of dealing with an apparently VERY Trusted Dealer offering a "Special" on a Noob 45mm Planet Ocean has left me pretty disappointed. I was promptly sent some Quality Control pictures. They just didn't seem right to me and the watch certainly wasn't the one advertised on the site. I pointed out to them that the pearl was very low and the movement was different. The movement wasn't the same as what is in the links you supplied. I was told in no uncertain terms that it was a "Noob" and that they had sold over 200 of these watches and no one had raised the same concerns I had. I figured that maybe it was a Noob but it must be a VERY OLD one. I told them I wasn't happy and to cancel my Order. I was asked if I wanted to change to another watch and I said "No thanks, I'd like a refund." That was Thursday, it's now Saturday. So my advice is "Beware The Special" and check the QC pictures closely.
