mike00 6 Posted August 1, 2016 Every Rolex is a king on his own but for me this is the ultimate Rolex of all time! The TT blue dial version a.k.a. 116613LB I saw BP launched this version recently and I pulled the trigger on one from Trustytime / Andrew. Delivery was fast, I believe within 6 days from China to The netherlands. I know many Rolex lovers do like this version but are being hold back due to the dial color, many are having doubts the dial color is not simular to GEN. This is why I post many dial pics from many angles so you can judge for yourself regarding this particular thing. I have been wearing mine for a week by now and did not had the chance to post this review earlier due to holidays. I am very pleased with this BP version, it screams GEN imo and it is an extreme eyecatcher I noticed. Several times I noticed people checking my wrist and we all know that nice feeling when that happens. As we all know not a single Rolex Rep is perfect but for me this one is just perfect as it is. The nitpicking points I leave to the Rollie experts around here. On to the specs and enjoy the pics guys! http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=15011 BP Factory!!! Could you share your opinions on that? Thanks!
NFleischer 4,354 Posted August 4, 2016 Looks really good! I wonder if they are new Swiss ETAs. Also like to see a comparison with new Noob wrapped versions. Congrats.
Tikwatejnu 0 Posted August 7, 2016 Beautiful piece the two tone Rolex is the absolute Pimp of all non Full 18K Gold Rolexes. I think this piece fits really well as a summer watch at Nikki beach, or Pascha nights on Ibiza. It's an eye catcher. Don't know if everybody could pull this bombshell off though! twotone16613 0 Posted September 10, 2016 i need the wrapped version asap I'm going to pull the trigger sod it
Hey Blue 0 Posted September 19, 2016 Let us know what you think of the wrapped version Twotone116613, like does the gold cover the side of the mid links? what about scratch resistance? I'm thinking of getting this in blue also. I have a gen black 16613 TT. Its an earlier model, pre 2000. Which means the mid links are hollow but still 18K gold. The new 116613 TT is solid 18K mid links and much more expensive than the 16613. I would imagine the new model is heavier also. Please let us know what you think of the wrapped version. ColdFusi0n 0 Posted September 24, 2016 Ive seen alot about the purple dial. A watch dealer friend of mine told me (i did some research online to verify and its true) that purple dial only happens for older 16613 tritium models. The blue sunburst dial will age and turn purple. In the gen market, purple sunburst dials fetches higher premium because its very rare. I think it needs to be expose to lots of sun light for it to happen. As for the 116613, its impossible to have any purple aged dial because its a new model. Most 16613 that turned purple are dated in mid 90s.
