Anyone done anything to ensure WR on BB or Pelagos?

I seem to recall there were quire a few posts back in the day that showed what guys were doing for WR on their divers but I haven't seen anything for recent releases.

I have a BB and a Pelagos that I'll likely pull down to do some sealing as I'd like to use the Pegolas at least as a swim watch but has anyone else done any work on these recent releases?

Usual stuff like sealing the back of the He Valve etc.

Did you just go for it? Swimming. surfing, sex in shower?

Yep, precision machine engineering rarely works well with water involved.

I figure at the gen price tag, it better bloody be waterproof!! Taken it swimming, that's about it. Hadn't considered sex in the shower - I love it, but not in that way ;)

Ahh, an Ad, I read it quick and thought Td.

Yes I would also expect it to be WR.

Hello

the BB and the Pelagos have the gaskets in the crown and in the back case , to ensure the waterproof , you can greased the gaskets and close correctly the caseback.

The case back on my BB came very loose. It also had two gaskets on the back, it should only have 1. I took one out greased it and put the case back on nice and snug. I've gone swimming many times with it now.

If I hadn't done this I'm sure a ton of water would have gotten in.

That's weird, did you buy it new or M2M?

Brand new ZF. The good one with the 2824. Just got it a few weeks ago.

It's a great watch, that was just strange for sure. Good thing I always grease the case back gasket first thing.
