midasmook 14 Posted October 17, 2016 Amusing anecdote that will only be appreciated by watch geeks. I was visiting a mate of mine and was leaving when he told me he had to be at a meeting at 4.00 pm I looked at my Rep. Rolex DSSD which I always like to keep a couple of minutes fast and said you have plenty of time it's only 3.25pm just now, he looked at his Gen Rolex DSSD and said actually it's 3.20pm. Simultaneously we both looked at our phones to check the actual time and yes it was 3.23pm. Watches are for show, if you want to know the time look at your phone. Member X 91 Posted October 17, 2016 Don't look at my phone, it gains time and I have to reset it every couple of months!

myaz 3 Posted October 17, 2016 Watches are for show, if you want to know the time look at your phone. Good story, the rep being possibly closer to the real time.......at least in this occurrence. As for me, watches are still good enough to navigate through life.
