Monkey_Business 0 Posted November 5, 2016 Hey gang! Just wanted to leave a few words on the Omega Speedmaster, here. It's a neat replica of the 2013 numbered edition that I ordered from Toro. Out of the bunch, this is the one I think looks the most like the original one, although subdial spacing still is an issue. The finish of this watch amazed me, really. The details are crisp, the movement sounds great and the winding-mechanism is crisp as well. The seconds @ 9 sweeps smoothly, the chronograph minutes @ 3 works, but I suspect that the dial @12 is frozen. I don't know how much I should be playing around with the chronograph function - At least in an A7750 that's an effective kill-tactic.. The best thing about this watch, to me, is having to actually wind it in the morning - It's something of it's own, and I think you owe it to yourself to have one of these. Mine came from Toro, and I can do nothing except recommend it warmly.

Monkey_Business 0 Posted January 17, 2017 Hey again! Does anybody know how using the chrono on this handwound Lemania-movement is contrary to a 7750 replica? There's nothing I love more than a mechanical chrono seconds hand, but I've only used it like.. Three times, in complete fear..

processengr 13,368 Posted January 31, 2017 Hey again! Does anybody know how using the chrono on this handwound Lemania-movement is contrary to a 7750 replica? There's nothing I love more than a mechanical chrono seconds hand, but I've only used it like.. Three times, in complete fear.. I have used the stopwatch on my ST19 (same movement) vintage Daytona rep many times without any issue. This is considered a reliable movement as compared with the delicate 7750 series. wowsasb 8 Posted January 31, 2017 I also have an ST19 in my speedmaster but I believe there is no problem using the chrono because the ST19 has a column wheel?
