sammysmiths 41 Posted November 7, 2016 I remember buying this watch a few years back. The guy told me it was a special order by some well respected members who wanted a sandwich chocolate dial and titanium case. Its a hand wind movement and hand made Italian leather strap. Can anyone tell me more about it, including case, movement and dial model numbers and where the strap came from? Needs a good clean up but its served me well. Duzza 182 Posted November 7, 2016 Well its definitely not a sandwich dial.

sammysmiths 41 Posted November 7, 2016 says titanium on the caseback?
simonbolivar 1 Posted November 7, 2016 I'm far from an expert, but looks like a 390 dial & handset placed in a 177N series titanium case... Movement is A6497 manual handwind that would have come in either a 390 or 177, except 390 would have had closed caseback (and polished SS case set)
sammysmiths 41 Posted November 7, 2016 How does this rate in the rep pam world?
simonbolivar 1 Posted November 7, 2016 How does this rate in the rep pam world? Well... hard to say. The quality looks decent but it's not a watch that Panerai ever made. So if you value accuracy to gen, I would say it rates pretty low. But some people might like it for its uniqueness... who knows.
Left Coast Guy 24 Posted November 7, 2016 Yup, not a sandwich dial and harder to sell when it doesn't really have a model number. Its a fantasy watch....those don't always have the greatest re-sale value for whatever reason.
grb 1 Posted November 7, 2016 It's a 176 base titanium with sausage dial(it should have a sandwich dial), but the caseback numbering seems to be wrong, they appeared to have stopped making them under the 'J' plate
grb 1 Posted November 8, 2016 I think the strap is tan or maybe brown calf assolutamente This is what it should look like
grb 1 Posted November 8, 2016 No James may be right, it's a cross between a 390 and 176. 176 case and movement, 390 dial, hands and asso strap
deju 1,886 Posted November 8, 2016 How does this rate in the rep pam world? On the wrist I doubt you'd get called out on even a fantasy PAM rep unless it was proper looky looky rubbish ha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mysterio 18 Posted November 8, 2016 PAM 390 in a PAM177 N-series case. Like you said, it's a custom build.
tonyh7 247 Posted November 8, 2016 Hard to tell from the photos but the dial and hands don't look particularly sharp to me. Colours look a bit washed out in comparison to the super rep 390s.
sammysmiths 41 Posted November 8, 2016 Not sure if this is allowed, but if I were to sell this, what price range would I be looking at?
James. 4 Posted November 8, 2016 Id say around $150, pretty much tat MM money but maybe less depening upon condition
