fatarms 7,760 Posted November 14, 2016 Love it, have you seen the new gmt2 with CHS? Only the rumors that it exists over at RWI. It was supposed to be released a month ago according to Angus's site, they keep pushing it back. I guess it's a modified 2836 where they just re-engineered the gears for the bottom two hands on the stack. I think I'm just going to wait until it's been out for a while and make sure the movement is stable before even thinking of doing anything more with this watch. Since the crystal and assembly are in place, I'd probably just move the dial, hands and movement into this one since the case isn't changing (doesn't really need to). And that's if I even buy the new CHS version The thing is, I have the GMT hand set to the same time on both the 12 and 24 hour dials. So all the hands are pointing at the 12 at midnight, etc... The hour hand and GMT hand don't really overlap much during the daytime hours, so it's hard to notice anyways

fatarms 7,760 Posted November 14, 2016 I guess so Just gonna sit back now and watch the reviews roll in, I never buy the new models before there's enough info to make an informed decision, especially when they start modifying movements. Thanks for the heads up!

NCRich 13,746 Posted November 14, 2016 Just finished this. Bought this in 2012 I think from Robert. Sold it to another member a few months later. He just gave it back to me when it died. It was tired. New movement, polished and rebrushed case. Love this strap on it.
