Theduke.williams 1,036 Posted November 25, 2016 Free samples of skincare products - you just pay the postage. FOR GODS SAKE DON'T DO IT! These companies will set up a subscription ion your account, without you knowing (they will hide their terms and conditions), and then enrol you on a monthly supply for an extortionate ammount of money. I've been scammed this way for a total £192.93 and there's nothing I can do to reclaim this money. All I have been able to do is get my bank to block any further requests for payment. Scammers are getting more elaborate, and operate just within the law, unless you live in Canada, where this sort of activity is definately illegal. Funnily I responded to an ad on Facebook, and guess what? This ad no longer exists.

codystern 22 Posted November 27, 2016 There is no such thing in life as FREE. Just the way it goes. This scam is very common with many products folks.

Theduke.williams 1,036 Posted December 11, 2016 Judging from my emails there's 2 companies in the chain for the U.K.;- Pheonix-labs-inc.com rvtlskin.co.uk Reading the various blogs, it seems this is a problem worldwide, and these scammers use lots of different (dummy?) company names. The companies above seem to point back to an address in Cyprus, though that could also be a fictitious base.
Theduke.williams 1,036 Posted December 11, 2016 I've also been told by a respected friend, that the anti-wrinkle cream (that they charge £100 for a small jar) is in fact anti hemorrhoid cream! Just think about that when your better half is smearing it all over her face!
