jordanrides 0 Posted December 10, 2016 Hi Guys, I'm a big fan of Genta's designs and am really keen on adding an Ingenieur to my collection and have come across one that's really caught my eye. http://www.kuvarsitwatch.co/iwc/ingenieur/iwc-ingenieur-power-reserve-asian-21j-automatic-movement.rose-gold-gray-dial/ I really like the RG and grey dial combination on this one and the $148 price mark is also pretty appealing. Only thing is I'm not quite sure I could handle having the power reserve on the dial if it is not functioning so I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the power reserve functions on this model. I've seen some dealers advertise 'working power reserve' on other IWC models but the lack of such wording and the the price tag has me concerned that this model would not have it functioning. Any insight much appreciated.

GenTLe 1,501 Posted December 10, 2016 I bet it works. It looks the exact same movement used in the UN with working PR, with the autowind based on "Seiko magic levers":
