Hi - Regmariner on order :)

Recommended Posts

Gerlewis

Hi all,

Just thought I would say hello.

Hello!

I was looking for a Rolex Sub, and have have been recommended a Regmariner (by Andyboy on this forum), so I contacted the seller, Narikaa, and paid today.

Looking forward to getting it. I will try to upload some pics once it arrives. It will be my first rep.

I currently have a Citizen Titanium Ecodrive - which I really like.

A little about me:

Based in UK, I am a family man, and have a business, a sports car and single malt addiction :)

The forum has already been an excellent resource.

Cheers!

Ger

Welcome to the madness.

The Regmariner is a better starter sub than the budget Silix one.

Enjoy it and post some pictures when it arrives

Better than the Regmariner is the Noob V7, but it's double the price. The improvement isn't worth the extra, IMO, unless you're going to get anal about details.

It has arrived, and first impressions are great.

8 days and 1 hour door to door :) (Thailand to UK).

I will take some snaps tonight!

welcome!

Regmariner is a great choice, i loved my one but felt it was a little small for my fat bastard wrists! got a deep blue dssd now and its lovely..... but the value etc of the regmariner was unbelievable..... a great place to start!

Now, tell us about this sportscar!!!!

My wrists are a meagre 6" :sigh:

Here is the car - http://ow.ly/wzFm307iBxj

I am as much into driving as I am cars :)

Gets me out of the house!

Now I need to workout how to remove some links on the sub's bracelet - is it a case of unscrewing those tiny link screws?

On my citizen you just pop out some pins.

The V7 got a better massive bracelet. Regmariner is a nice watch but you cant compare to a v7!

I just ordered my second sub from reg. They really are very nice. I find them to wear very well. Also mine has been more accurate than I expected. It's a great watch at a price point that most other dealers can't compete with IMO. The sub works for small wrists too.

nice porker! much nicer looking than the boxster imo! I'm in a slightly sensible E82 BMW 1 series coupe atm (okay, it's still a 3 litre, and fairly flys!) but i miss my sportscars... fav ever was my S2000, awesome machine, most unbelivable engine i've experienced, not neccesarilly the quickest, but put the most smiles on my face!

as for resizing the bracelet....yeah, unscrew the wee screws from one side, and a pin will fall out hopefully! otherwise unscrew the other side too and push the pin through as you did on your citizen! keep an eye on the screws, and while you're at it make sure they are all tight enough, even the ones you haven't touched... always a good idea with any rep bracelet!

Enjoy it!

Hello mate

nice choice.. I am in contact with Reg to buy the same or maybe I will wait for him to have new models in stock such as GMT II Rolex

I'm new as well in the replica world and so far I have bough my first rolex rep 5512. I love it but was surprised about the weight of the watch and found the bracelet too loose

what's your opinion about the Regmariner bracelet and weight?

cheers

franz from the UK

Hi Franz. With about 4 links removed, mine weights 136Gms. So pretty spot on. I don't have much to compare the bracelet to, but it is more comfortable than my titanium citizen. I have ordered a leather strap as I like the look. I will post a pic once it arrives.
