fatarms 7,754 Posted December 31, 2016 Congrats- those Ashford sales were great this year. For $600-700, can't go wrong with these Gens. I paid about $350 for the rep and it had movement problems when I got it. Still I'm not crying because it has a Miyota 9015 which is a good movement in a rep. I have to say that the list prices for the Gens are a bit ridiculous- not worth $3500- 4500 for simple SW 3 handedwatch IMO. I tend to agree with you, they are probably safely priced in the $1000-1200 range or so. The cheapest I saw the one I bought was $999 on ebay and almost jumped on that one. They were still about $1200 at Ashford. A couple days after Christmas, this model showed up at $699 on Ashford and I figured it was now or never at this price. Sold my gen crystal/gen insert TC and decided to pull the trigger on this one in about a 2 hour window Kind of surprised they claim 100m water resistance with a non-screw down crown. dave47 6,453 Posted December 31, 2016 For the eve of New Year's Eve, this "Swiss Made" INVICTA Grand Diver GMT (Model 5127) I purchased from WUS, I believe, quite a while ago. I popped off the case back, and sure enough: Swiss Ronda movement; I can't vouch for the rest of the watch, but it IS a beauty & shows me some of the fine stuff INVICTA is capable of making. I've wanted one of these for months and everything lined up a couple days after Christmas.
