PhillyRock 0 Posted December 30, 2016 My internet exploration began here at RWG. Like most of you, I almost pulled the trigger on a sale via one of those sites we dare not mention here. One of the same sites that drove most like minded people here or next door. Being smart about the money we were going to send only to NOT end up like most. Ripped off or very angry about what we received. Since getting into reps, my adventures didn't stop there. After building up a drawer full of Omegas, APs, Paneari, Zenith and quite a few other brands I took the next logical step. I got into watch straps. First it was eBay, then BoB's, strap code and then to John G. After getting my hands on a John G strap for my 382, I started looking into ABP Paris. (This is where it gets good) APB Paris was far too expensive, and I still had a serious itch for an exotic strap. So I said, "what the hell". Bought some stuff from eBay, created an abortion of a strap and wore it proudly. I get better with time as most of you know, and began selling my crafts here to support my hobby. It has now morphed into a greater need to accessorize. I am now making watch straps with matching wallets. HAHAHAHAHA Yes, it has gotten that bad. I present to you gentlemen, my latest obsession! If anyone is interested in a watch and wallet combo, let me know via PM
Left Coast Guy 24 Posted December 30, 2016 Wow, that is taking it to another level Erich.....but then where do you stop? Wallet, watch.....belt? shoes? phone sleeve? pen holder? Sounds like things could get out of control quickly....

RussP 22,189 Posted December 30, 2016 Erich, Your talent(s) never ceases to amaze me. I don't use a wallet (have half a dozen or so that were gifted to me over the years), but one that matches my watch strap..............hmmmm...........think you've sold me on the idea. Happy New Year young man. Best wishes, Russ.
Piccolo 673 Posted December 30, 2016 Nice work..! There's serious money in accessories, animal skin phone cases with matching card holders seem to be all over IG - Michael Louis in particular, and they only emboss the leather I think. Can you do a card case?

PhillyRock 0 Posted December 30, 2016 Oh suuuuure. Tease us with these, and none on offer. :P Very nice work. I would like a Pangolin in that funky brown / black. Wallet and 26x26 / 130x95 strap, please. I'll let you know if I have enough Pangolin for a combo. I wasn't able to get large portions and I need almost a Half hide for a wallet. Let me sort through the stock and I'll let you know.

PhillyRock 0 Posted December 31, 2016 Great work mate, and I particularly like the Hamilton combo Of course you would The Vintage Bark Elephant strap and wallet has gotten the greatest number of compliments whilst out and about with the pair. A restaurant maitre'd commented when paying for a meal, a police said, " does your watch match your wallet on purpose?" when I was getting coffee and between here and next door it's gotten the most mentions. I must admit, the Khaki makes it that much better.
