Never got to meet him in person, and never really had any one to one conversations with him on this board, but he did flame me once. I had written about my watch having a deployment clasp - oh boy! In his rather eloquent and gentlemanly manner he pointed out the correct term is deployant - lesson well and truly learned. For all that his manner was neither offensive or rude.
