Only a couple of hours to go before i close the donations .. the figure has remained the same .. I will post a pic of the cheque and confirm the amounts along with the names of the Contributors not on the original list tomorrow evening ... hopefully have a few more pics by then . dalboy 2 Posted January 23, 2017 I have now finished accepting donations ..and i'm happy to say that collectively you managed to raise £1205.41.. this is over and above the £300 you raised for the flowers . So a total raised was £1505.41... you have all done a brilliant job , and one which would make Neil proud . When i started this i never for one moment envisaged raising that sum .. but you all rallied to the cause and this is the end result .. It has been a privilege to organise this , and to have known Neil ... i am humbled by your generosity and proud to be associated with you all .. Thankyou !! As you all know the charity chosen is Cancer Research ... one which is close to my heart and many others here .. i shall now raise a cheque for the final amount and send it to Paul. In the interests of propriety i will ask him to post a picture of the cheque prior to forwarding it to C.R.. and maybe he will write a small letter with some back ground info of Neil and the origins of the donation . Finally ....... extra donations came in from members other than those listed previously .. namely GT 86 desselin Sakurai Mc Jules austinsom There where additional contributions made by members who had previously donated and felt the need to open their wallet for a second time .. i'm not going to name you .. but thanks for your additional input and funds ..
