I've been in contact with him a bit throughout the build, and tentatively put myself down for one of them a while ago. But then that article came out and I can't justify 25k, regardless of how clever and original it is... it's only a few k off an MB&F Legacy machine, and I know which one I would choose first.

Incredible work though, it's a very unique piece. Cool that he was a member on here and how far he's got in the watch world! Really friendly guy too, and clearly very very intelligent!

Wow, nice to see something came of that project. I wondered why he never finished the thread off with a final product. Seems he was a bit busy :D

Probably because he got a little too much fame with the gen watch brand to be noticed writing on a replica forum without consequences.

Illegible dial + crazy pricing = no way!

But a big thumbs up for the effort/engineering skill put into making it happen.

Exactly what I thought. Plus, since he did a bit of referee engineering with a few new twists he could make reps!

This kid is nothing short of amazing and huge kudos to MB&F for taking him under their wing.

Mate, that's a prototype in plastic! Wait for the finished product.

Be kind of ironic if there's a 1:1 A+++ rep that comes out next year wouldn't it hah
