ortiizz 0 Posted March 17, 2017 Hi all, Thanks to the never-ending Seiko thread I've been drawn to the Pepsi lately but there are so many dif versions, which all look about the same to me. Examples; http://www.creationw...watch-2027.html – 147€ http://www.creationw...watch-1899.html – 132€ The list goes on... and from visual point of view there is little I can put my finger on. Albeit I know nothing about Seikos. Am I missing sth? I am sure I am, but what exactly? I am just looking to get a Pepsi without dishing out too much cash on details like 200m vs100m. The main aim is just to get my hands on a decent everyday beater and to see what it feels like vs reps. Nothing special. Thank you in advance. :)

splke 4,244 Posted March 17, 2017 This is the whole truth http://www.creationwatches.com/products/seiko-automatic-watches-69/seiko-automatic-divers-skx009-skx009k1-skx009k-mens-watch-1454.html
ShovelnTC 31 Posted March 17, 2017 Yep 009 gets my vote as well, 100m WR isn't really a true diver and I won't even swim with that rating so the 007/009 has 200m rating so is a true beater which can be worn anywhere.

TheTinMan 13 Posted March 18, 2017 I love my SKX009, I honestly think it's one of the nicest watches ever made. Get it on rubber and get an aftermarket Strapcode jubilee. The factory jubilee is junk; it looks really good, but it's flimsy. The Prospex linked above is really nice too, the case shape is a little different though and more boxy. WatchDog21 3,345 Posted March 18, 2017 The SKX009 is good but go for just a few bucks more and get the SRP779 http://www.creationw...watch-8370.html I have both the SKX009 and 2 of the new Turtles. The new Turtle wins for getting more wrist time. A great fit and feel on the wrist. My PADI turtle is one of my top 3 favorites in my collection.
MoveAlong 23 Posted March 18, 2017 Hard to argue against the 009 on jubilee, it's so iconic. With that said, the turtles are damn nice, been wearing my black one all week. So, easy decision, right? Just get them both!
