phone 0 Posted March 24, 2017 I'm trying to get a watch that is a wearable under the cuff as my latest acquisitions have an AP Schumacher, a PAM616, and a Big Pilot, I need something that is of a modest size and wearable under the cuff. I was thinking an IWC Ingenuier (even though it's 42mm)? Anyways let me know what you think! I've got a couple of dress events coming up! Thanks boys. phone 0 Posted March 24, 2017 Ah. The calatrava. Definitely a contender in my decision, but am asking for more suggestions just in case!

phone 0 Posted March 24, 2017 Glashutte Senator Sixties. 36mm Datejust or Day/Date Rolex 6263 JLC Reverso Longines Conquest Moonphase All 40mm or under. I just wish the Reverso wasn't quartz. I'd be all over it. I love that watch. Especially the ones with the complications, I've said it before, when I go gen, this will be the piece i get. But that Longines definitely catches my attention. Thank you sir.
phone 0 Posted March 24, 2017 I love the Cartier and the RG AP but aren't those a little over 40? And Slightly thick?
greg_r 81 Posted March 24, 2017 The cartier is 38mm BUT it's square, so wears quite a bit larger. Lovely watch though. I used to wear mine with a suit occasionally - but it got so little wear I ended up moving it on as I tended to wear my Rotary 702 (similar style) more often,. Chiquita Fanjita 1,781 Posted March 24, 2017 The 15400 is only 1mm over 40mm and isn't thick, although the Santos at 38.5mm is quite thick at 11mm, but still looks great with a cuff.

Even though it is quartz, but yes I'm still considering the Cartier.
steveo75 1 Posted March 24, 2017 I'm in a similar boat and looking at dressier watches. For a < 40mm and not-too-thick I love my IWC mk XVI though. Goes with anything, and (IMHO) can be a casual-style dress watch or a dress-casual watch. Particularly if you swop the strap every now and then.
