Think about putting it on a NATO.

Especially the single-strap NATOs are just made to slim down an otherwise big watch.

The 44mm wears just fine on my 6.5" wrist. But I wouldnt go bigger.... and I wear 38-41mm watches normally.

Well, I guess he had it coming.

To the OP, browse Toro's catalog and check which one your friend might like. AND THEN ask what we think of it. Your price range would have more than 100 choices.

Im 6.5" and dont like big watches or loose-wearing watches. That said, the 44mm Luminor is amazing on my wrist. I usually opt for shorter custom straps from the makers on the forums...I have the 356, 087, and 386 (and soon 441 or 082)...Theyre all amazing and fit very well on 6.5" wrists

I love the Panerai look, & use to always look at them on EBay for purchase, but after buying a rep, I thought way too big for my wrist.....then a relative from Europe was visiting & he was wearing a gen Panerai, I asked him if I could try it out, same thing, too big.

If you can make Panerais work, they're great watches.
