I'm in the market for a day date watch. Not really interested in the rolex at the moment. I saw this on a Patek thread:

I love that watch, but can't seem to find it on td's websites. Any and all variations welcome, sport to dress.

I'm pretty sure that's the 5270; to my knowledge that's the only perpetual calendar chrono reference with the weird "chin" at 6 o'clock. I don't think there are any decent reps of this one, but I'm only a casual Patek fan. D.C. Is the man to ask on all things P.P.

I owned a 5970, which is very similar, and all the perpetual Patek reps are awful. Sorry to tell ya :/

Patek is a great gen watch with great deals, but simply hate all leather straps.

I meant great dials, don't know where great deals came from....Rolex is the most copied watch ever, & Patek gets little love from the rep world & public, hence not many people care if Patek reps are accurate.
