Is there a watchsmith in Canada who can work on rep watch?

One customer need help to change the movement. Is there a watchsmith in Canada who can work on rep watch?

I know one in Vancouver - who i took my Hong Kong bought Sub to as the crown fell off - he got me another one.

 

He works on Genuine Rolex's too it seems - quite the guy - reminds me of the dude in Bladerunner with frozen eyeballs.

Mary is a TD here, she's based in China. It seems that a watch she sold someone needs to be worked on, the buyer is in Canada. She sounds like she is going to cover the cost of the repair, but just needs to know where the buyer should take/send it.

Yeah but better to send it local i would have thought.

 

Where is the buyer situated - roughly.

 

If he is in Vancouver - he/she could drop it off.

 

Of course they cold post it too, but i am sure there are lots of peps that can work on a replica - so closer to home would be better.

 

I can give her the info of the guy i used - no problem - he's a really nice guy and good with watches - his place is a rinky dink mess - but he's good.

There are lots of shops that will do the work. Where is the watch located: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax? Can you give us some insight?

 

I know of a good repair shop in the Toronto area. I've talked to him about working on reps and he is fine with that.

Just compare this thread to the one running wild on Mark. TDs may all be able to get the same watch, but they sure don't have the same level of service.

Bring up an old thread. I am moving to Canada, Alberta specifically from the USA. So I am looking for a service/repair place I can take my watches to or mail. I have tried searching on RWI with no real luck. Can anyone help me out here? Would greatly appreciate it.
