Paul Newman's Paul Newman going to auction

Interesting. THE Paul Newman is going up for auction after being "missing" for years. Can't imagine how many zeros will be involved.

Saw this yesterday, incredible bit of history.

Price estimates??? I honestly struggle to put a price on it, I'm sure someone would pay in the region of a million $

Some pundits say $10 Mil

There are two of his watches that might be going to auction.

One of them belongs to his ex-son-in-law and the other is his own that was a present from his wife Jo (aka ME)

Fuck me!

That has to be one of the single coolest watches on the planet. Possibly second only to Armstrong's speedy dunno though...

Maybe Newman's Newman is cooler

Yeah, its Aldrins speedy. But it has only been on the moon. This one has been on Paul's wrist.

I'm sorry but $10 million is an absolute joke. The watch is cool and has history but you've got to a world class prick to be able to splash that on a watch

Pshaw, that is walking around money to many people. Not only that, it will only appreciate.

People are crazy.

It's a nice watch, nice story, etc. but I can't see the $10M+ attraction!

Less than a million for me.

12 to 15 million would be my guess, maybe more. Its chump change to some after and it's the ultimate collectable Rolex.

Only Aldrin's Speedy has been the subject of more conjecture than the whereabouts of this watch.

Of course we cannot see that attraction since it is astronomically out of our league but to some...

Will be cool to see where it lands :)

I was reading a newsletter this morning about this watch, I would guess it will sell for about €1.2 million, afterall, its THE Paul Newman Daytona.
