1973 Bulova Snorkel

Really cracking job, well done.

Acrylic crystal polishong 101: I use "Brasso" brass polish, which has "just" enough abrasive in it to remove scratches. It just takes time with a rag. Go watch a movie and you'll be done at the ending credits.

Congratulations on the watch, you did a great job. Bravo!

Thommo, that is a brilliant job... well done mate. Should invest in a Dremel for polishing, does a fantastic job

have you tried Labanda for parts and tools? they have a good website and are in queensland. Swiss quality loupes etc, movements dials all the tools you need. Good polishing mediums too

Pretty happy with the Bulova

Gonna get into strap making when I get some time

Let me know if you need leather, tools, threads or exotic skins. I'm not really making much anymore and would love to see the stuff I have go to someone that will make something from it. Cane Toad, Shark, Elephant, Python, Cobra, Fish, Emu, Kangaroo and much more... Sell it for cheap.. and I'm in Carrara so I'm local to you if you wanna have a look.

Thanks mate, I appreciate it

Dremel sounds like a good option to me

I didn't know of Labanda, didn't even own a watch 9 months ago!!

I've just thrown myself in the deep end, but I feel like I'm treading water pretty well

I need a good loupe, my fucking eyes were hurting after this project!
