dave47 6,471 Posted June 15, 2017 Hi, Gang! Today is HUMPDAY, so celebrate (uh, with due caution, of course). Today, another inexpensive watch received from a seller on AMAZON.com: this CROTON Chronograph, with green dial and very strong black rubber strap. Its movement is supposed to be Japanese, but I couldn't remove the screw down case back to check. For a $19.95 watch, this CROTON is big, measuring 49mm w (w/crown) x 13mm thick and tilting the scale at 112 grams. Its movement employs the latest trend in chronographs-- the large, central seconds hand ticks constantly, while ALL chronograph functions are confined to the three subdials (which DO function accordingly). It is a movement design I detest; I've been accustomed to the traditional chrono functions for the past 35 odd years. Still, it's a nice looker and am satisfied with it. dave:

KarmaToBurn 1,419 Posted June 15, 2017 I REALLY like that! May I ask where you bought it? It's the 1963 Chinese air force watch with the handwind chrono movement. Here's an article with info on the watches... http://www.thetimebum.com/2015/04/guest-bum-group-review-seagull-1963.html?m=

dave47 6,471 Posted June 16, 2017 Hi, Gang! It's PAMSDAY, so let's see what we all have. For today, this white dialed PAM on black sailcloth I picked up M2M a while ago; and, as is the norm, I don't recall its model number, and the numbers on the case back are of no help. My only critique of the watch regards the seconds hand: it is not boarded in black as are the main hands. dave:

I'm satisfied with mine, t. It's a little heavy but is VERY comfortable on the wrist. For the asking price, you really can't go wrong. If you buy this, we'll be expecting pics, of course, dave
