Run of the mill half decent rep. Seems like an OK price (get the Asian ETA for -$50 off)

i do apologise, i am new to the rep watch game and want the best looking/most authentic look. i love the Daydates and have always wanted one :-)

 

im not into watches like how you gentlemen are, so i dont know what things to look out for. id be extremely greatful if someone can point me to the direction on which website out of those in the list to pick.

i dont understand why you gotta be so mean mate. the reason why this is a forum is for everyone to HELP eachother. iv had a look through all the forum stickies, im a newbie in the replica watch game, literally got into it yesterday. just because youv been using the forum the past 3yrs doesnt mean you can talk to someone new like how you are. you were new to this at one point and maybe you understood this better than me and didnt need any help. good for you mate. i dont understand why asking for help is so hard these daysif you dont have any helpful input in my thread then please see yourself out. thanks.

A couple of pointers - read reviews, you can educate yourself a ton in just an hour or so

- gold on reps in my opinion isn't well replicated, SS is much easier, gold is always plated and ( in my opinion) always looks more shiny and fake than it should.

- stick to A2836 or A 2824 movements ( Asian eta clones) they are a lot more reliable than Swiss movements as the movements sold as Swiss are often cobbled together old movements.

- as far as TDs go they are all trusted and all get the same stock, they don't manufacture watches, they just deal in them so pick a TD who's terms suit you - reshipment, shipping charges, comms etc

- there are tons of extremely Gen like reps, all will have a flaw or two, remember often you're paying 20x less

- read about movements, factories, anything you can, we were all in your shoes at some point

After his reply to me he's lucky anyone else tried to help. At this point I'm not sure how anyone would want to help this twit. He's been a member here for 10 months and claims he started yesterday then wants to be served on a silver platter including getting someone to wipe his ass. Good luck

We're all here to help (well, most of us ...), but you can't just post links to 6 very similar watches and ask us which one is best. Do what everyone else does: find a watch you like, search the forum for reviews, find a pic of the gen and compare them. If you can't tell the differences, or they're so minor you won't notice them, or you like the watch so damn much you don't care, then buy it from your TD of choice.

 

I second everything Tomtom said. Also, you should know that gen DDs only come in white gold, yellow gold, and platinum -- all of which are much heavier than the stainless steel/gold plated reps. So the weight difference will always be a tell with DDs. In contrast, the gen DJs are available in stainless.

This is incoming, Ilike the RG with Roman numerals. Don't worry about gold wearing off (doubt there's really any gold in these reps myself),

Not sure whether the length of time involved in the Replica watch game would effect my attitudes towards these sort of posts. However, I for one am happy to offer advice or answer any questions if I am knowledgeable on the topic. I mean it is a forum, after all.

 

The highest quality of replica Day Dates are all made of plated 18K Gold which means they are nowhere near as heavy as the real McCoy. But how often does someone ask to check the weight of your wristwatch haha?
